Horseback Riding
What could possibly be more exciting and relaxing than spending time astride a horse exploring the Sonoran Desert? Feel the West come alive as knowledgeable wranglers guide you on a 90-minute ride through the panoramic vistas of Arizona’s most famous desert.
As you venture along desert trails winding through towering saguaro cacti, mesquite groves and other desert plant life, your guide will talk of the abundant plant and animal life. Arizona’s desert is home to multiple species of deer, owls, javelina, rabbits, eagles, hawks and more; many of which are often seen during the ride.
You will learn of the famous and often nameless cowboys, soldiers, pioneers, outlaws and Native Americans who crossed many of the trails you will be riding.
Boxed lunch and drinks will be provided.
Jeep Tour
Enjoy this unique opportunity to explore the Sonoran Desert via four-wheel drive vehicles. Each off road vehicle is driven by an Arizona cowboy guide who will entertain and educate you with interesting and entertaining facts about the desert and the early settlers that called this rough wilderness home. Learn about how Native Americans use desert plants and cacti in their everyday lives, for medicinal purposes, food, and water and for direction.
The guide will teach you about desert survival techniques used by deer, javelina and other animals.
