Session Descriptions:

Getting Started with Options: This session covers the ins and outs of investing with options. Learn about calls, puts, strike prices, break-even points and a wide array of options terminology that is essential to successful trading outcomes.

Developing a Trading Strategy: Options are about risk and reward. To be a successful trader, you must know your goals and risk tolerances. This session will help you trade in your own risk/reward balances. You’ll learn about how to actively manage your trades when things are going well and more importantly, when they are not. Other topics covered include trading psychology, time frames and trading styles.

The Covered Call and Income-Generating Strategies: This session will delve into the topic of covered call writing and put selling. The motivations and risks associated with these income-generating strategies will also be covered. You’ll learn about calculating static and if-called returns as well as some common misconceptions about covered writing. Included will be pointers on what to consider when putting together your own personalized plan.

Trend and Volatility: Analysis for the Option Trade: Option traders understand that every trade must be analyzed in terms of both trend and volatility. If you ignore either one, you're missing a big part of your trade. This closing session by the ProMarket Advisors will present some key technical strategies for your analysis. Designed for beginners through advanced, you'll learn about more than the technical strategy - you'll learn about the story behind the analysis. Sharpen your skills with price charts so that you're prepared for your next option trade!
