OIC Announces June 7 Brokers-Only Seminar "Options Strategies for Your Clients"

The Options Industry Council (OIC) announced today that "Options Strategies for Your Clients," a new seminar for Series 7 licensed brokers, will be held on June 7 at The Westin Hotel in Denver from 3 - 5 p.m. There is no cost to attend.
"Options investors make good brokerage clients with their average income of $175,000, liquid assets of $866,000 and an average of 35 stock trades per year," said Paul Stevens, President, OIC. "This seminar offers brokers the opportunity to expand their options knowledge for clients they serve and the firms for which they work."
The two-hour seminar will be taught by Marshall Kearney, former CBOE Trader and current instructor for The Options Institute, and will cover a variety of topics related to equity options:
- Demographics and trading practices of today's options investor
- A review of options fundamentals
- Practical options strategies
- Recommendations for options resources
- Considerations for brokerage firm
