OIC Rings In New Year With Winter Options Seminar Schedule
Chicago—December 19, 2002
The Options Industry Council (OIC) today announced its increasingly popular winter line-up of equity options seminars for investors and brokers. The seminar schedule includes beginning, intermediate and strategy-specific seminars in select cities in the U.S. and Canada.
"With the continuous growth of the options market, investors look to our seminars as a vital learning tool," said Paul Stevens, President, OIC. "This past year, registration in OIC seminars increased by 10 percent over the previous year, and the demand for education keeps getting stronger. Our newest offering, the Covered Call seminar was created in direct response to investor and broker feedback, and we hope to keep expanding our program to meet their needs."
OIC's seminars are taught in a classroom style format by experienced options exchange instructors. The free basic and intermediate seminars are held from 6-9 p.m. and the new Covered Call seminar, which was unveiled in 2002, takes place from 6 - 8:30 p.m. The cost for the Covered Call seminar is $49.
