OIC Introduces Online Class "Options Strategies in a Neutral Market"
Chicago—September 14, 2004
Looking for investment strategies to get you through a stagnant market? Look no further than The Options Industry Council's (OIC) newest online class, "Options Strategies in a Neutral Market." This free class is located on OIC's Website.
"'Options Strategies in a Neutral Market' provides investors with an opportunity to learn what options can offer in a non-directional, sideways market environment," said Paul Stevens, OIC President. "This online class is targeted toward the more advanced investor and joins four other classes already in this group."
"Options Strategies in a Neutral Market" offers the following instruction:
- Learn five distinct option strategies that can be used profitably in a non-directional, sideways market
- Review potential risks and rewards for each spread
- Explore the various components of a neutral market and the use of option time decay to the investor's advantage
Interactive examples help course participants visualize the outcomes of decisions and allows them to theoretically test a strategy before investing. A quiz is included at the end of the course so that participants can assess their knowledge and progress. Investors may repeat the class until they have a solid understanding of the topic.
Other classes offered at OIC's Options University are: "Bull Market Strategies," "Buying Calls," "Buying Puts," "Contract Adjustments," "Covered Calls," "Introduction to Spreading," "Options Basics," "Options Pricing," "Options Strategies in a Bear Market" and "Symbols and Quotes."
All classes are free and require registration at Options University. For a description of ”Options Strategies in a Neutral Market,” please visit OIC's Website.
