The Options Industry Council Sees Impresive Surge in Attendance and Registration for Spring Seminars
Chicago—March 11, 2008
After holding the first live seminars for investors and financial advisors of its spring session, The Options Industry Council (OIC) is thrilled to announce that they are experiencing the highest registration and turnout in eight years.
In response to attendee feedback, OIC updated its free seminar schedule for 2008 to consist of two courses, spanning two evenings and encompassing basic and intermediate equity options essentials. (Previously, the courses were broken down into four separate sessions.) The new lineup has proven popular with participants and during an extraordinarily well-attended seminar in New York City last week a standing-room-only crowd of more than 300 people attended the entire three-hour options basic course.
The positive response has been overwhelming. Seeking to expand their portfolios, many attendees went both nights and have conveyed their satisfaction with the quality of the instructor and the curriculum. They also noted that the instructor was able to keep everyone’s attention throughout the evening, even with the large crowds.
OIC’s spring session runs through May 15 with the next classes scheduled March 11 and 12 in Philadelphia and March 12 and 13 in Seattle/Bellevue, WA. Each seminar runs from 6-9 p.m. and registration is required.
Those interested in attending can obtain a detailed schedule (including dates and locations) and also register via OIC’s website or by calling 1-888-OPTIONS (1-888-678-4667).
