Denise Knabjian is Managing Director, Investor Education at OCC, the world’s largest equity derivatives clearing organization.
Ms. Knabjian is responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of The Options Industry Council (OIC) and other OCC initiatives that prioritize investor education. OIC is an industry resource provided by OCC that offers trustworthy education about the benefits and risks of exchange-listed options to all market participants.
Since joining OCC in 1997, Ms. Knabjian held various positions including First Vice President, Process Innovation; Vice President, Internet and Investor Services; Director, Member Services; Systems Assurance Analyst; and Treasury Operations Specialist. She currently serves on the board of directors for the North American chapter of Women In Listed Derivatives.
Ms. Knabjian has a B.A. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In addition, she completed SIFMA's Securities Industry Institute Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
