Session Descriptions:

Options Fundamentals
This session covers the ins and outs of investing with options. Learn about calls, puts, strike prices, break-even points and a wide array of options terminology that is essential to successful trading outcomes.

The Collar Strategy
Learn how the cost of a protective put can be partially or completely offset by the sale of a call option, with a little room left on the upside for potential profit. The strategy is called a collar and is designed to outperform a buy and hold strategy during neutral markets following a period of appreciation. Investors who are looking to protect accrued profit on shares that are already owned might want to consider the collar strategy.

Closing for Success

Opening a trade is only the beginning - every trader needs a disciplined strategy for protecting that trade until the trade is closed.  Rick Swope of Pro Market Advisors presents a step-by-step approach toward risk management by analyzing the price chart, setting stops correctly and exiting the trade with confidence.  Rick will also walk through the adjustments required for using the same strategy with option trades.

Creating a Portfolio of Credit Spreads and Covered Writes
Dan Sheridan of Sheridan Options Mentoring will discuss steps to consider when setting up a portfolio using credit spreads and covered writes. This practical how-to session will cover execution, trade plan and risk management.
