The Options Industry Council And OCC Announce Formal Name Change Of Investor Services Resource

The Options Industry Council (OIC) and OCC announced today the renaming of their popular Call Center, also commonly referred to as the Help Desk, to Investor Services. This formal name change is to better align the name with the services offered as well as promote a consistent brand and image.
Investor Services is widely acknowledged as a valuable comprehensive resource center to the industry which provides information and education for all products cleared by OCC including equity options, commodity futures, commodity options, security futures and securities lending.
Investor Services staff answers the 888-OPTIONS (888-678-4667) phone line, responds to emails and participates in on-line chats with the investing public, broker-dealers, exchange personnel, and clearing member trading desks. The team also helps investors and advisors with technical assistance as well as finding content on OCC’s website, www.theocc.com, and The Options Industry Council’s (OIC) website, www.OptionsEducation.org.
OIC is an industry cooperative funded by BATS Options, Boston Options Exchange, Chicago Board Options Exchange, C2, International Securities Exchange, NASDAQ OMX PHLX, NASDAQ Options Market, NYSE Amex Options, NYSE Arca Options and OCC. OIC was formed in 1992 to educate investors and their financial advisors about the benefits and risks of exchange-traded equity options.
