OIC Sponsors "Options Strategies For Your Clients" Seminar For Brokers

The Options Industry Council (OIC) announced today that "Options Strategies for Your Clients," a new seminar for Series 7 licensed brokers will be held on Dec. 3 at Grand Hyatt New York in New York from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. There is no cost to attend.
"This seminar offers brokers the opportunity to discuss and learn options strategies for the current marketplace," said Paul Stevens, President, OIC. "It also presents an opportunity for brokers to expand their options knowledge for the clients they serve and the firms they work for."
Alex Jacobson, a former Vice President of Business Development at Chicago Board Options Exchange and Merrill Lynch broker, will teach the two-hour seminar; he is currently Vice President of Business Development at the International Securities Exchange. The seminar will cover a variety of topics related to equity options:
- Demographics and trading practices of today's options investor
- A review of options fundamentals
- Practical options strategies
- Recommendations for options resources
- Considerations for brokerage firms and free educational software
